I was taking a break from essay writing earlier this week to watch Merlin and realized I had been on set! Sara, Mary and I visited Cosmeston Medieval Village in Wales over Christmas holiday. Expecting a “living village” we were kind of bummed to find that in off season it’s empty and they just give you a handset for an audio tour. Even so I was pretty impressed at the craftsmanship of the village itself and found myself thinking, “I wonder if they shoot Merlin here?” And they do. Very strange feeling to be watching tele and think, “Ah, I’ve walked through that doorway.” Fun times!
